With our array of top-tier services, our experience in the fields, and our devoted team, we’re confident we can help you turn any corner—and truly succeed.

Our History. Our Mission. Our Focus.

In January 2007, Paul Redfern, CPA, started Redfern & Company. Before forming the company, Paul was a lead auditor and consultant at a growing regional CPA firm. At that firm, he ran engagements with a full range of attest services, including reviews, audits, and compilations. This experience, along with his experience as a CFO and a board member of two local organizations, gives him a well-rounded understanding of organizations’ finances and internal control risks.

Redfern & Company primarily serves two types of clients: growing businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Both groups frequently lack large accounting staffs and, in some cases, are underserved by traditional CPA firms. We believe our services, pricing, and practice of disclosing detailed time reports help to alleviate those issues—and help our clients achieve their goals.

While we find that NPOs and burgeoning businesses are underserved by our industry, our primary motivations to specialize in servicing these groups lie elsewhere.

We chose to focus on NPOs & up-and-coming businesses for two reasons:

  1. Growing businesses and not-for-profit organizations are passionate about their work, mission, and purpose, and we share their passion—and thoroughly enjoy the synergy of our shared enthusiasm and dedication.
  2. Strong communities benefit everyone, and we believe both NPOs & growing businesses help build a sturdy society. We do our best to serve your organization with conscientious, professional service to help you grow and enjoy your success.

Talk to you soon,

“We use Redfern & Company every year to help us prepare for our annual audit and throughout the year for accounting and financial advice. Their expertise reduces a great deal of the stress surrounding our annual financial audit, and we are happy to have them as a trusted advisor.”
